FAQ

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR ORDERING A CUSTOM DESIGN?
Ordering a custom dress is a fun experience at Linda Asaf Design. Our clients are involved every step of the way so there are no surprises. The process begins with a consultation where we spend time getting to know you and your own personal style. We then create fashion concepts based on your input.

Once you select a style, we develop a pattern and mockup for you to try on. The mockup allows you to see how the dress will look. It is your opportunity to make any changes to the design. We also fine tune the fit. From there, we make the actual dress and work with you through a series of fittings until you walk out with a dress that is perfectly fit and perfectly you. Please see this lovely blog posting by Red Fly Photography for insight into the custom process.

HOW MUCH DOES A CUSTOM DRESS COST?
Our custom wedding gowns range from $3,000 to $10,000 for full length gowns. Short wedding dresses generally start at $1,800. This depends on the complexity of the design and cost of the materials used. This includes a custom fit and all alterations. Recommendations can be made to accommodate your budget.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE A CUSTOM DESIGN?
Bridal gowns usually take 3 to 4 months from start to finish. Our goal is to deliver the finished garment one month in advance of the event date whenever possible. We do encourage clients to start the process as early as possible to get prioritized, allow ample time for any unforeseen delays and to avoid rush charges.

A cocktail dress may only take 3 to 4 weeks to complete especially if it is one of our over 200 designs we already feature in our permanent collection.

CAN I BUY READY MADE DRESSES?
Yes! We have beautiful dresses and luxury sporstwear for sale in our showroom and online.
